Host Carpet Cleaner
Host carpet cleaner is a dry carpet cleaning
system. The major advantage over water based systems is that they can leave the carpet wet, which has to then dry
out naturally. Dry carpet cleaner can be walked on immediately after cleaning. For office cleaning, the dry clean
method limits downtime and can be completed in more regular working hours. Dry cleaning does not mean you don’t get
as deep a clean as with wet cleaners. Host carpet cleaner will clean deeply and will remove
stains, dirt, oil and a general grime build up.
Dry cleaning systems, such as host carpet
cleaner, use an organic fiber similar to a sponge on which to hold the solvent. This fine material gets
right to the base of the carpet ensuring a deep clean. The cleaning unit then vacuums up the material along with
the dirt, leaving the carpet clean and dry. The cleaner can also be used on grouted tiles to clean grime and stains
of the grooves.
The solvents used will remove mould, allergens, and common
difficult to remove stains such as make up, vomit, wine, pet accidents, nail polish, and blood. If you need to
remove all of these, then you may have much greater problems at hand. Consult an expert before tampering with the
scene.
In terms of economy, host carpet cleaner costs
around $40 for a 12 pound box, which is enough cleaner to cover up to 1000 Sq feet, or 4 or 5 rooms. It is
sprinkled on the carpet, brushed in, and then removed with a Host Dry Clean Machine. The solvents are totally
removed after cleaning, and there is no residue which could be harmful to children or pets. The Host Dry Clean
Machine costs around $20 dollars for a day or $30 for a weekend at most hire stores. Host carpet
cleaner should be reused every 6-8 months to maintain a clean and safe floor surface.
Host carpet cleaner has its advantages and gets
as good a clean as the wet method. Some carpets are more suited to a particular cleaning method so you should
always consult an expert before using a new cleaner. The dry cleaning method is far more convenient for offices and
homes, however for liquid spills the wet system needs to be used.
